Dr. Neil M. Brodsky is a graduate of Case Western Reserve University School of Dentistry and has been in private practice in the St. Petersburg/Clearwater area for over 18 years.

Dr. Brodsky Saint Petersburg Dentist Dr. Brodsky was one of the first selected for an intense Graduate Practice Residency program while at CWRU, and an extensive residency at Metro General Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio.

Dr. Brodsky currently maintains membership in good
standing in the American Dental Association, Florida Dental Asociation, West Coast Dental Association, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and American Academy of Craniofacial Pain.

He has given presentations on the effects of the one-hour whitening systems and continues to take many hours of continuing education and hands on training.

Smile Makeover Procedures

Gum Recontour
Occasionally the symetrical appearance of the "gums" can account for as much as 50% of the total cosmetic value of the front teeth. Recontouring the "gums" around the front teeth is an inexpensive procedure accomplished in a single visit with laser or electro-surgery techniques. The result are dramatic and last a lifetime.

Porcelain Veneers
Porcelain Veneers are thin sheets of ceramic that bond directly to the front surfaces of teeth. They are an ideal choice for improving your smile and have become increasingly popular due to their simplicity and versatility. When bonded in place, these thin veneers are virtually undetectable and highly resistant to coffee, tea or even tobacco stains. For strength and appearance, their resemblance to healthy white tooth enamel is unsurpassed by any other material today.

Implants
Implant Dentistry has now come of age. Many people are presently missing one or more teeth in their mouths. These missing teeth may be permantly replaced with dental implants. Even full dentures can be augmented or totally replaced by denture implants. Our office works with all area oral surgeons and a specialized laboratory for fabrication of life like comfortable implant tooth replacements.

Tooth Whitening and tooth Brightening
Tooth bleaching, or "whitening " of the teeth, can enhance a smile by a simple procedure utilizing a custom-fabricated bleaching tray and a safe, dentist-dispensed whitening agent. The patient wears the bleaching tray with the whitening agent in it for six to eight hours each night for six to eight nights. Results on yellow and/or brown teeth are most dramatic!

Bonding Bonding
Whether as a result of decay or just bad luck, many damaged or disfigured teeth can now be restored in a single office visit. Restorative materials are adhered directly to the teeth, therefore this technique is most commonly referred to as " Bonding ".

The past two decades have brought tremendous improvements in "tooth-colored" restorations in front teeth. Higher quality materials, improved material adhesion, and less invasive tooth preparation techniques have all led to longer lasting and more esthetically pleasing restorations. The latest generation of these new materials are not only more cost effective, but also they can be contoured and shade-matched to defy detection.

Crowns and Bridges
Crowns are porcelain fused to gold dental restorative materials designed to replace broken or badly worn back teeth.

When a small number of permanent teeth are lost, a replacement or "bridge" can be manufactured to restore your normal eating abilities and preserve your jaw alignment. The replacement teeth are fabricated of a natural-looking porcelain fused to gold, modeled after your original appearance, joined into a set and anchored permanently to the neighboring teeth. The result is an enduring, beautifully restored smile.

Bridges can be either removable or fixed. A removable bridge , or partial denture, is designed to replace multiple teeth in the arch. It is recommended to be removed at night.

Fixed bridges are constructed of gold and porcelain and are permanently cemented. They may replace front or back teeth and do not come out at night.
